Short version: this website doesn't track you, the app keeps your data on your PC, and the merch store is run by Fourthwall. Here's the longer version.
This page covers three things: the llamacasty.com website, the LlamaCasty app, and the LlamaCasty merch store at support.llamacasty.com. Last updated October 9, 2026.
This website
- No cookies. The site doesn't set any.
- No analytics or trackers. There's nothing counting your visit.
- No third-party requests. The page, its font, and its images all load from this site. Nothing is fetched from anywhere else.
- No forms, accounts, or payments. There's nothing to sign up for, and this site collects no personal details. A paid edition is bought and billed by Steam — the payment never touches this site or Gramps.
Links to YouTube, Mastodon, Buy Me a Coffee, and the merch store take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
The LlamaCasty app
LlamaCasty runs on your PC. It has no LlamaCasty account and no LlamaCasty server, and it contains no analytics, telemetry, or ads. Nothing you do in the app is sent to Gramps.
The full statement ships with the app as PRIVACY.md, and the licence terms are in LICENSE. Paid-edition purchases are handled entirely by Steam; Gramps never sees your payment details.
Signing in with Google
LlamaCasty uses YouTube API Services. To stream, you sign in with Google and give LlamaCasty permission to manage your YouTube account. The app uses that permission only to:
- show your channel name and picture in the app;
- create, start, and end your live broadcasts, and update their title, description, and tags;
- read your live chat and Super Chats, memberships, and gifts so they can appear on your stream, and post chat messages you send from the app;
- read your channel's statistics for the YouTube Partner Program tracker.
By using LlamaCasty's YouTube features, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Your sign-in is saved on your PC, encrypted by Windows, so you don't have to sign in every time. Signing out deletes it from your PC. To remove LlamaCasty's access completely, visit your Google account's third-party connections page.
What stays on your PC
- Your layout and settings: scenes, imported images and videos, social handles, hotkeys, stream title and description, and Partner Program tracker numbers.
- Your recordings: saved as .mp4 files in the folder you choose.
- A small log file that helps diagnose crashes. It stays on your PC unless you choose to send it to someone.
Your stream
Your webcam, microphone, screen, and game sound go into only two places: your live stream to YouTube and recordings on your PC.
Your chat
LlamaCasty shows your live chat in the app and on your stream, and doesn't save it. Chat shown on screen becomes part of your broadcast and recordings, like everything else on screen.
Other websites the app contacts
- Social handles: when you add a handle to the social bar, LlamaCasty visits that profile page to check that it exists. For Mastodon-style handles, it also checks the server when the app starts.
- Web overlays: pages you add as overlays load just as they would in a web browser, and those sites may set their own cookies.
The merch store
The LlamaCasty merch store at support.llamacasty.com is a way to thank Gramps for the app. It's run by Fourthwall, which handles your order, payment, and shipping. Payments go through Fourthwall's payment partners, Stripe and PayPal; Gramps never sees your card details.
Fourthwall uses your name, email address, shipping address, and order details to fill your order, acting on LlamaCasty's behalf. Gramps can see your order details and uses them only to help with your order. They're never sold. The store uses Fourthwall's cookies and analytics; see Fourthwall's privacy policy for details.
